My Services
In-Home Prep Visits
Helping you to feel ready & confident
An in-home prep visit is designed to help you feel more prepared and confident before your baby arrives or during the early postpartum days. During this visit, I support you with organizing baby essentials, setting up sleep spaces, going over basic newborn care, and answering your questions.
The goal is to make your home feel calmer, more functional, and ready for this new chapter. Every visit is personalized to your needs, so you can feel more at ease, informed, and confident as you prepare to welcome your baby.
What’s included
This visit can include organizing baby supplies, setting up the nursery or sleep area, reviewing basic newborn care, and going over feeding routines and daily flow. Everything is adapted to your home, your preferences, and what will make your life easier once the baby arrives.

During the night, I help with breastfeeding support, bottle feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and settling your baby back to sleep, so you can recover and wake up feeling more rested and supported.
My goal is to create a peaceful night for both you and your baby, while giving you the confidence and reassurance that your little one is in good hands.

FAQs
-
A postpartum doula is a trained professional who supports you during the weeks after your baby is born. They help with newborn care, feeding support, recovery, and emotional support so you can rest, heal, and feel more confident during this transition.
-
A postpartum doula does not provide medical care. Instead, they focus on emotional support, newborn care, and practical guidance for the family. Midwives and nurses handle medical needs, while a doula supports you with comfort, education, and day-to-day help during the postpartum period.
-
During a shift, I focus on caring for your baby while also supporting you. This can include newborn care, feeding support, soothing, and helping you rest and recover, always based on your family’s needs and preferences.
-
It’s best to book early in pregnancy, since doulas are often fully booked months in advance. However, you can always reach out to check availability, even after your baby is born.
-
At the moment, I accept Carrot benefits only. I can provide invoices and any documentation needed for reimbursement. If you have questions about your coverage, feel free to reach out.

I provide postpartum support throughout the Peninsula, San Francisco, and the South Bay. If you’re not sure whether I serve your area, feel free to reach out and ask.
